Origin of My Atmosphir Avatar

Upon realizing that I had not posted on my blog for a while, I whipped up this quick description about the origin of my Atmosphir avatar.


Several months ago, a phenomenon was born... Atmosphir Cat. He pwned enemies with his sword and spat out dead fish carcasses when attacked. But alas, the all-powerful creator whose name was MaximumDragon sent this awesome cat to oblivion.

Apparently he found intelligent life somewhere in the nothingness and helped them become developed. Atmosphir Cat had a child and then died soon after. His child had a child who had a child who had a child who had a... So on and so forth. Time in the dimension of oblivion passed differently than the time on Cirrus. After several millenniums of testing, the intelligence in the oblivion developed a portal back to Cirrus.

Before I say more about Atmosphir Cat's descendant, let me tell you about the intelligent life in oblivion. If it was nothingness, then nothing could have formed there. So the lifeforms had to have come from somewhere. They don't remember, because for them it was millions of years ago, but they came from Cirrus. On Cirrus, they were known as the Aphelions.

When the portal opened, Atmosphir Cat's descendant, whom we shall call Future Atmosphir Cat, stepped through, followed by the Marauders caste of the Aphelions and the servant bots that were called Atmobots and the guard bots called Sentry Bots.

As soon as they stepped onto Cirrus soil, the Aphelions remembered. They remembered their blood quarrel with all of those on Cirrus and they turned on the only Cirrian that they knew... Future Atmosphir Cat. Of course, Future Atmosphir Cat realized this as soon as they arrived as well and promptly launched a rocket at the portal, effectively rendering it useless.

Then the first skirmish of this era broke out, between Future Atmosphir Cat with his AK-47 and the multitude of Aphelion enemies. Soon, the valiant cat realized that the battle was hopeless and fell back to another part of Cirrus to nurse his wounds.

In this other part of Cirrus, the cat met villagers in a place that had recently been liberated from some tyrant called Kormac... He spoke to them and they nicknamed him Flame for his orange fur. That is why he has a fireball with him.

New Laptop!

Yesterday was one of the happiest days of my life! I got the new laptop I had been wanting. It is the HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC. It has 4 Gb of RAM and an Intel i3 processor at 2.40 GHz per core! This means that it is faster than our desktop computer! One thing that shows this is that Atmosphir can run on Highest Quality with shadows on with absolutely NO LAG! This also means that Minecraft will be able to run on Far Visibility with Fancy Graphics. There is only one downside to this... I am about 499$ in debt to my parents. Oh well!

Friday Update: 2/11/11

We are people. Deal with it.


Atmosphir Update:

I have stopped designing for a short amount of time, until the future pack comes out. That said, I might actually start designing a level called the Dark-lit Caverns. I have no idea. It would be my first attempt at a horror style level. Exciting, am I right?

Minecraft Update:

I am now almost completely dedicated to the Atmosphir server and hope to become an OP on it soon. My bases are epic and it is the best server I have ever been on! Also, I am happy, because I was able to save the Plasma Pack! I will start working on it ASAP.

Youtube Update:

I am soon going to start a new series of videos called Good Idea, Bad Idea, in which I will take clips from Atmosphir and decide whether or not they are good ideas or bad ideas. My The Minecrafter series has become a huge hit, and I will be trying to release several a week. Opposite of this, my Let's Play: Star Wars Battlefront II series has been a flop, and I will most likely stop making them. This last week, Youtube also allowed me to upload more than 15 minute long videos! Now there are no limits as to how long my videos will be!

Real Life Update:

There is a large chance that I will be able to get a new laptop over the weekend! I will post here as soon as I get it. I also had a Jazz concert this week in which I though I did OK. There is definitely room for improvement. I have also been drafted into the Pit Orchestra for the school play in April or May and I am going to be playing in the pep band at a basketball game later. Apparently, Marching Band Leadership clinics will begin soon, which I will definitely attend. In other words, Real Life is going pretty well!

A New Laptop On the Way!

My friends in real life know about how I have a netbook. The tiny netbook cannot do anything. In fact, it even lagged in Microsoft Word and Google Chrome. It was probably one of the most horrible laptops that I had ever set my eyes on. I started recently saving up for a new laptop. It would probably be July by the time that I was able to buy a good, cheap one.

Luckily, fortune smiled upon me. Yesterday, my netbook stopped working. My parents decided that they could buy a laptop for me, and I could pay them back. And this time, I even get a say! I will be able to play Atmosphir and Minecraft on the go, and everything will be much more convenient! This is what I have dreamed of for a while. I will hopefully have it within the span of two weeks. I will be sure to post here on the new computer.

There is only really one piece of bad news that comes with  this laptop death is the fact that my Plasma Texture Pack I was making for Minecraft was deleted. I will start again though. I will put pictures up of it as soon as I can.

Friday Update 2/04/11

Hey, Max here! Today, I am going to give you an update about everything MaximumDragon.

Atmosphir Update:

Ok, so this week, I am now level 14. This makes me happy... Until I see JazeGeek's 20 something levels... I guess I just need to try harder! Anyways, I am about halfway done with Downfall, the prequel to my Quest trilogy, which is not to be confused with Yanahma's "Quest for..." series. Soon, I am going to start making a level with a ton of blockart. 8-bit all the way! I don't know what the gameplay stule will be, but I will try to figure it out soon.

Minecraft Update:

My base on frogger's server is growing hue! That's the one with the sky complex. I have built 4 TNT cannons and made an Outpost. I also have start making the beginnings of an underground sea. At the bottom, I will create a glass mine. It is going to be awesome! I am also making a Shooting Range, to kill some creepers to make TNT.

I have also found two more servers. In one, I have OP powers and it was amazing. I also am going to try out Tominator's server from Atmosphir sometime soon.

Youtube Update:

Yesterday, I uploaded my first part of a Star Wars Battlefront II Lets Play series! It is quite fun, and I would be happy if everyone took a look at it! Feel free to comment on it. I have no idea when I am going to next be able to make another ATM.

Real Life Update:

I had two snow days this week and had a ton of fun on Atmosphir and Minecraft. I also will be playing with both of my school's Jazz Bands in a festival next week. School is going great for me. I have almost straight A's. I am also getting e-mails from colleges a ton recently, because of good grades on state tests.

Minesphir: Introduction

Starting this weekend, I am going to do a series of posts that talk about what a game that is a cross between Minecraft and Atmosphir would be. If you didn't already know what those games are, there are links in the sidebar. You can also watch Atmosphir and Minecraft videos on my Youtube account.

These posts will be accompanied by Photoshopped picture, thanks to me. I will explain practically everything about this 'Minesphir.' So have fun reading them!

Random Train of Thought About Absolutely Nothing

So if you were to peel an orange, would it spontaneously implode? If it did, would the spontaneous implosion create a wormhole that would take you to a parallel universe where Nazi dinosaurs are the supreme rulers of the universe? And would you be able to survive in that parallel universe where chicken DID NOT TASTE LIKE CHICKEN!? In this parallel universe, the dinosaurs would have never died out because they made a huge civilization in which their first goal was to eliminate all oranges in the universe because the meteor that crashed into the Gulf of Mexico looked like an orange to them. So the oranges of the world were eliminated and suddenly, everyone died from lack of oranges. But since there were no oranges, you couldn't have peeled that orange that spontaneously exploded and created the wormhole that made the Nazi dinosaurs come into existence. And without the Nazi dinosaurs, the oranges wouldn't have been eliminated, so you WOULD have been able to peel the orange, so the Nazi dinosaurs would have been created and they would have destroyed the orange which then destroyed the Nazi dinosaurs which then remade the orange which then remade the Nazi dinosaurs which then destroyed the orange which then- TIME PARADOX!!!! A 49th dimension would then be created because of this time paradox. This paradox would then create a car that could travel BACK TO THE FUTURE!!!! And then you would have died in the future, so you never would have been able to peel the orange that sent you through this epic adventure. This is assuming that the orange spontaneously imploded. Which didn't happen. You just ate your orange like a normal, boring person.
